Ministry

Our church has been serving God in the name of Jesus Christ since 1881. We are part of the Missouri Valley Association of the South Dakota Conference of the United Church of Christ. Our ministry as a church emphasizes worship, Christian education, service and fellowship. We try to respond in Christian faith and love to the needs of our members and to those of persons in the wider community. We try to be a church in which all persons are welcome, and everyone is seen as a child of God. We believe worship is the central experience of Christian life, honoring God in worship as we would seek to honor God in the living of our lives. We find music to be a vital part of on worship experience.	We celebrate the talents of our young people and adults who offer these gifts to the ministry of our church. Our lectionary-bared curriculum provides all children and adults in our Sunday School program a common preparation for Christian life and worship, offering us a fine way to integrate Christian education with worship. As a church family, united in Christ, we welcome you to our church .
	Choirs The Adult Choir meets for practice each Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. from September through May. The Lord’s Little Angels (preschool – Grade 2) and Lord’s Little Folks (our children’s choir) meet Sunday mornings during Sunday School. Youth We have a Youth Group (Grade 7 through Grade 12) that meets the first Wednesday and third Sunday of the month at 6:30 p.m. during the school year.
